Dr. Galstian is a Family Medicine Resident Physician at Capital Region Medical Center hospital part of the University of Missouri health system. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Minor in Chemistry from California State University of Northridge and her Doctorate of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean.
For the past decade, she has continuously remained involved in the world of medicine, including clinical research, academic medicine, medical insurance, clinical laboratory, and hands-on clinical experience, all while traveling throughout the United States. She's passionate about providing quality care, emphasizing primary and secondary prevention. Her areas of focus include diabetes and hypertension interventions from a conservative lifestyle management perspective. She often utilizes Integrative Medicine practices, which provide a more holistic approach to medicine in order to find comfortable and effective solutions for everyone.
Outside of the hospital and clinic, Dr. Galstian raises awareness for a multitude of public health issues. Currently her focus is on the COVID-19 pandemic especially in the US and Armenia. She is actively providing aid to Armenia through her works at AMHI (Armenian Mental Health Initiative) and raising funds that supply medications to Armenia and Artsakh.
